Hello, I’m Adam Lake, Co-Founder and Director at Willmott & Lake.
My journey in property began back in 2011, working un-paid at a well-regarded Agency to build my experience and knowledge. Here I developed a true passion for our industry and fully immersed myself in all aspects.
Since then, I have spent time at both leading corporates and independent agencies running both Sales and Lettings, through to launching my own successful Agency business (subsequently acquired by a well-known brand). Throughout my journey I have also put an emphasis on furthering my knowledge at all opportunities. I have completed accredited qualifications in Residential Property Sales, Lettings, Land & New Homes and Legislation, allowing me to display the MNAEA title.
The opportunity to play a leading role in clients moving journeys, one of the most significant landmarks many will experience, is not something I take lightly. I firmly believe that this process and responsibility should be managed with the upmost care and attention, ensuring it is a time of excitement and new chapters, not stress and anxiety.
Whilst I have a keen interest in utilising the latest technology and cutting edge marketing for our clients, I am a big advocate in ‘old fashioned’ customer service and hard work. I strongly believe that in our ever evolving world, all clients should benefit from a bespoke service to them, backed with traditional values such as hard-work, honesty, integrity and of course, in-depth expert advice.
Outside of the office, you’ll often find me following football, training hard at the gym, or out on the golf course. I am also a big advocate for giving back to the community, having fund-raised and helped at a number of local charities such as Grove Cottage, The Animal Rescue Charity in Bishop’s Stortford, Supporting Dalit Children, a small non-profit organisation run by a local long-term client of ours, and the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance charity.
